Maintenance & Repair
A comprehensive planned machinery and vessel compartment maintenance management system, the Maintenance & Repair module records, schedules, and manages all data pertaining to work performed on a vessel by the crew or outside contractors.
The Maintenance & Repair Specifications document provides a comprehensive introduction to the features and functionalities available within the module.
MAJOR BENEFITS
- Provides a menu to track surveys and certificates for Classification Societies, Coast Guard, and other regulatory bodies ensuring all documents are up to date.
- Produces a maintenance plan for each vessel that includes all work to be performed, sorted by job category.
- Allows for the generation of shipboard Work Orders or Service Requisitions to document work performed by the ship's crew or external contractors including details of what has been done, by whom, the costs associated with the repairs, and a list of parts that were used.
- Allows onboard engineers and office staff to determine what parts and services will be needed in future months, ensuring the parts can be delivered in time for needed maintenance.
- Tracks multiple ongoing projects. Typically one Maintenance Event, such as dry-docking, will include multiple projects. Tracks all associated maintenance and purchasing costs.
- Records maintenance history for equipment and vessel spaces, detailing completed and outstanding work.
