Expand the Marine E-Business Offering Further

Marine Transaction Services (MTS), provider of second generation e-business solutions to the marine market and ABS Nautical Systems (NS), leading provider of fleet management software for the marine and offshore industries, have reached agreement to expand the marine e-business offering further by creating an advanced integration between their services.

ABS Nautical Systems is a leading provider of Fleet Management Software for the marine and offshore industries. Marketed as a suite of products called NS 5, the ABS Nautical Systems software modules can function on a stand-alone basis, or as a fully integrated business management solution that addresses every element of a fleet manager's daily business functions.
It is to the NS 5 Purchasing and Inventory module that the integration to MTS e-business solutions will be made. The integration will be based on mxml and will enable joint customers of ABS and MTS to benefit from the advanced e-business solutions that MTS offers. This includes electronic transmission of procurement documents, monitoring and management tools, electronic catalogues including tools which assist the user in improving the quality of product and price data and e-invoice.
ABS has been providing client-centred solutions since 1983 and has over 150 customers for their marine software. MTS is constantly increasing its number of advanced integrations to marine software applications and emphasises the importance of ensuring full technical compatibility for any ship owner/ship manager and marine supplier.
