Due to overwhelming feedback from our clients the 2003 ABS Nautical Systems User Conference will be held in Las Vegas from October 6th-9th. After a polling of our clients at the end of the 2002 it was evident that clients were ready for a new venue. Houston is our world headquarters but we agreed with our clients it was time for a new location. When we asked clients what other locations they would like to hold the 2003 User Conference over 75% indicated Las Vegas, NV. You spoke we listened.

Some of the improvements to this years conference include:

• New Venue: Las Vegas, NV
• Break out Session : Maritime Security - ISPS Code (Guest Speaker)
• Break out Session : IT related issues
• Website already designed to capture client suggestions/recommendations
• Streamlined process to vote on 2004 Development Priorities
• Greater focus on how to better use modules for greater efficiency
• Greater focus on networking/sharing ideas with other NS clients (room configuration & focus groups)
• Learn more about current NS releases

Tentative Schedule

As you can see we have already been busy organizing the 2003 User Conference. We thank all of our clients for their feedback and we are working diligently to incorporate as many of our ideas as possible. Stay tuned for updates in the weeks and months again. As more details become finalized we will bring that information to you. One area that we can provide more detail on is Maritime Security - ISPS Code and what ABS Nautical Systems is doing to give our clients the tools they need to satisfy these new rules and regulations.
